I’m a restless Angelina who does the writing and the acting. I have a perm, a coffee obsession, two cats, and a to read pile that never stops growing.

What does Sobremesa mean?

Sobremesa is the Spanish tradition that takes place after a meal. Once the food has been enjoyed, everyone stays at the table to sip on a cafecito or another glass of wine. During this time, the table becomes a place to trade recommendations, exchange stories from the week, share what's been on your mind, and catch up on any family drama.

So what exactly is Sobremesa about?

Sobremesa is a newsletter that provides you with a weekly dose of five(ish) things that have totally grabbed my attention, sparked my curiosity, or just hijacked my brain space. Since I'm LA based, chances are 99% that all the spots I write about will be right here in Los Angeles.

What subscribers get for free:

  • The weekly newsletter

What subscribers get for $5:

  • Access to all past and future writings on Sobremesa

  • A monthly essay

  • Allow me to keep the creative fires burning. You don't only get my eternal gratitude but also a lifetime supply of virtual high-fives.
